Oldest to newest, the best I can remember it.

I remember the lineart's from SA, but I can't remember the artist. I kinda got carried away with the hair. But I really like the shading on the face and the eye coloring.

The lineart was done by Cotume, and I meant to finish this, but I got really lazy. I like the funky gel-looking hair.

I'm experimenting with coloring with more than just one hue. Like mixing up colors in shading. It's turning out well. I just don't like the drawing. [I'm also shading more in-depth.]

Again, the lineart's from somewhere on dA, but alas the name of the artist escapes me. I just remember I really like the drawing, and thought I'd give it a whirl in Painter. Don't mind the hair coloring.

I drew this back in November, and started coloring it recently. I was kinda upset over the AA thing for AZ, I kinda gave up on coloring this. [And hopefully you can tell, but this is Axel from KHII.] I really liked the nose-shading and hair coloring, so here's a 100% shot.

Hmm. I was writing something for a friend the other day, and I just happened to think, "Whatever did happen to my writings?" I used to be so into writing little snippets, and poetry. I never thought I was any good, but looking through my dA gallery, I wasn't so bad. I thought I'd share something. [I'm sure you remember this, Cotume, and a few of you have read this on my dA.]

Don't leave, dear sister in her time of need, of great grievances and oppression. For there is a world far greater than us that has to be fed with love. Tenderness cannot conceive that black hole churning ferociously in the sky, but passionate compassion may. The burning desire is in her eyes, look through them and see what she needs. Her soul, it holds the emotions of millions. The mass of a billion is but entangled in her lengthy hair and encrusted mouth.
Don't leave, dear sister in the time of greed, tremendous downfalls and depression. There is but more to be discovered. Through those frail hands, the hour will slip, and through those thin lips, the lies will grip reality. Unbeknownst to your ears, the wind from her mouth whistles with fortune and disgrace. Do stay and see the misfortunes unfold.

This is a lame art post. But I like some of the graffiti that I've done on Facebook, so I thought I'd show you guys. :D

Oldest to Newest.

I drew this for Jimmy, and this was one of the very first ones that I actually liked. :D

This was for Jordan. I like drawing inverted[ly]...>_>

Another one for Jimmy after he changed accounts. And one of the few times I've been able to color red hair right.

For Taylor. I forget to draw eyebrows from time to time.

For Natalia, and one of my favorites of all times. Doesn't look too bad without eyebrows.

For Jules after I drew him a crappy "Harry Potter" for his birthday. I like how he/she has Jaundice.

For Tiia. I tried to use Christmas colors. I think it would've worked out better with green eyes and red hair. :D

For Natalia. This is why I don't do landscapes/waterscapes. Also because I don't quite try on them.

Another for Tiia, and this time I actually tried to color with the colors inverted without reference. I failed. :D

For Charlotte. It took me a long time to do. D: And one of my absolute favorites. >3

Well...okay...this isn't from Graffiti, but I just wanted to put it. D:< I recently got Painter IX and I wanted to test it out. This was done using the Conte Crayon tool. I loooove it. I emulated how I color pictures on Graffiti, so yeah. I like how colorful the hair is. And since this was test of Painter itself, I didn't care about the proportions and if the drawing actually looked good. So bite me. D:<

There you go. Hope you enjoyed. It was fairly long.

FIRST IMAGE.

50% the size of the original image. It's a random concept I had. I love my comment up top. :D It's there because originally she was supposed to be naked, but uhh...I was going to submit it to ELO, so I thought they wouldn't appreciate nudity so I covered her up. But since it's now a WIP that will never be finished, it will not be submitted.
SECOND IMAGE.

This is a character I created called "Disco Dan." He's done in my weird and random style I whip out when I'm bored. I colored his afro to see if I could properly color an afro. :|
THIRD IMAGE.

I DID NOT DRAW THIS. KMYE-CHAN over at dA did. I only colored this. :) And I'm incredibly saddened I cannot finish it. It's really gorgeous lineart and I loooooved where the coloring was going, but it was just too much for me. :/ I'm submitting it at 100% so you can see all the prettiness. >3
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST.

Screenshot that I fully intend to finish. On the left is the original sketch. I had too much fun/couldn't decide on the legs, so I redid the sketch...but I won't show you that. :P Instead, enjoy a close-up of the eyes and fringe of the hair.

They even have detail shots! [The detail shots are at 100%, so I'm warning you now: That means they're way huge. Some of them.]
These go from oldest to newest. To the best of my memory. I should seriously start dating these things.

This one is wallpaper sized, and I don't wanna stretch the page too much, so it's a link. :) Although...I wouldn't suggest using it as a wallpaper because it is unfinished.
The lineart was done by Centi over on dA and not me. I started coloring it LAST SUMMER and never had the will to finish it. D:
A Few Detail Shots

Oh. My gosh. This is sooooo bad. The only reason I have it up is because I really liked the way the hair turned out. I think this was the first time I put the dodge tool down when it came to hair.

I don't even remember why I'm putting this up. I think it had something to do with the way I mixed soft CG'ng with digital painting. :| But this is seriously so bad it didn't deserve a detail shot.

One of my characters from my story. Ophelia. And she's albino. And she has freckles that I seemed to have forgotten. Is it even possible to be albino and have freckles?!
Close-Up of the Eyes

This is something I've had stuck in my mind for a while. A couple of months ago, I had the worst fear that there was a weird creepy monster thing standing outside my window. And whenever my mind would wander during the day, I'd get a weird flash [like a subliminal messaging kind of flash] of what it'd look like. I wish I could finish this and show you just how eerie it was. It had claw-like hands, red glowing demonic eyes...Yeah...Maybe one day I'll go back and touch it up? I'd like to. And I stopped working on it, because I just couldn't quite capture the surreality of the "situation." I'm sure I will eventually.
The patterns are from somewhere on the internet.

This is very unfinished. I was trying to do a realistic thing...but heavy on my style...>_> And I was also trying out lineless drawing/coloring/painting. I don't think it worked? [And the nose looks really weird. MICHAEL JACKSON. Ö]
Nose Detail

I'm sure some of you remember the lineart from my dA? Yeah, well I installed a trial version of openCanvas the other day, and I was itching to color something. I happened to stumble upon the lineart. Now let me tell you...I didn't realize that oC semi-auto blended colors for you. That was freaking me out. So I stopped coloring it in oC...mainly because the file was so huge that my computer started to run low on virtual memory...but anyways, I went back into PS CS2 and tried to make it as smooth as possible. I half like it, half hate it. Still getting used to high contrast coloring. :)
Details

To people who aren't familiar with my work: In this batch, everything that I drew was drawn on the computer with an optical mouse in Photoshop CS 2. Everything was colored with the same mouse in PS CS2. With the exclusion of the last picture. About 60% of the skin shading on that picture was done in a trial version of openCanvas 3.5 Plus.

MS Paint Sketches

There's not much, and it's not even all that great, but whatever. I like 'em. :D

So way back when, when I was taking Drivers Ed, I was so bored of doing DE stuff all day long that I would open up Paint and start drawing in it. And I learned that I really like drawing in Paint. So, since then, I've been drawing on Paint whenever I couldn't draw on paper. :3

This the first picture I've done on Paint [since DE]. I really like this one the most. The hair and the skin shading are just awesome in my opinion. :D And also I like it the most because after this, the quality in coloring things other than hair deteriorates. ^^"

I was just drawing this to test out hair. I really like the sketchy and scrapiness of it all. And the hair = awesome. I don't give a rat's ass about how ugly the face is. :)

This was an experimentation in perspective that I never quite finished.

I like unnaturally colored hair! ;D

I'm totally intruding upon Taylor's craft, but gosh. Jewelry making is so fun! :o I've been meaning to try it for a while, and I have in the past, unsuccessfully mind you, and I finally got around to doing it successfully yesterday. XD So far, I've only made two pairs of earrings and one choker.

These are my first pair of earrings ever. And my first jewelry piece. :)
I screwed up on them though. D: As should be expected.

I'm totally in love with these. :)

I like the bead arrangement. ;)

I need to go get some more beads soon. :o Hope you like.

I just thought you'd like to know that I'm addicted to the song "All Day Long I Dream About Sex" by JC Chasez. It's so catchy and addictive. Except for that little techno music interlude. That's just weird. o_O
Also: I feel proud. Because I got two full-body CG commissions for someone on Gaia done in under one day. BAM.

So we've all heard about Wikipedia and its impetuous prank editing. I never thought I would see one. Until today. I was bored out of my mind after completing all the modules in Drivers Ed, right? So I head on over to the Today in History section. And guess what I find?

I showed Carol and Jane, and we got a real good kick out of it. I went back an hour later to see if it was still there, and unfortunately, it wasn't. But this was definitely the highlight of my day. I hope you enjoy. :)

I've Got My Propaganda, I've Got Revisionism

Soooooooooo...I started working on the story version of my script. Yay. I learned that I like my style of writing in first person. But I can't write worth shit when it comes to third person.

Anyone who's experienced in writing stories willing to help me out? And anyone who isn't? I'll take any advice that you throw my way. D:

I'm not a writer by any means, but I'm trying. I'd really like this to be successful.
And I'd love to share it on dA when the time comes.

I'm a visual artist. Not a writer. [As I too often tell my mother.] So I'd like advice.

I have just had one of the best days in a long while.

It started off with me actually arriving to school on time. Then Kasey informing me that she'd like to use one of my photograph's for the cover of our school's literary magazine, Stone Soup. I also found out I had a hole in the crotch of my pants. Which gave everyone a good laugh. XD And then I just came back from Kinko's where I didn't have to pay for anything. They enlarged the photo, made a print and saved it on the flash drive for no charge. :o I also got a Pepsi on the way home, and I've been dying without it. I have a really bad addiction to Pepsi. I can't go a week without it. :(

I also got a really funny letter from the Navy today. I'm just gonna type excerpts of it here:

"Dear Qurat,
For you, high school is almost over. And you have some big decisions to make. College, work, or will you have to juggle both to get where you want to go? Where's the adventure in that?

We should talk. There are ways I can help you gain valuable hands-on experience. [...] This is your opportunity to make something of your life - something extremely cool.

For every time someone said you couldn't do it. Or that you don't have what it takes. Prove them wrong. In the Navy.

[...]There's no pressure or obligation. Just the chance for us to help you live the life you've dreamed of. The Navy."

Wow. That was taken word for word from the letter. Including all the bolded statements. This is the funniest letter I've gotten so far.

Ok, I wanted to submit this on dA first, but dA is being stupid!

OK. So. This is based off 'See You on the Other Side' by BT. It's a picture that I would really like to work on and make my best. But I can't do this without your help! So if you would, please leave as much criticism and commentary as you can in this entry about the picture. I really want this picture to be the best it can be! Especially since I'm considering submitting it to ELO.

And if you would answer these questions along with the criticism/commentary I'd really appreciate it:
1.] Realistically speaking, does the neck look too thick?
2.] Should I add an arm? [XD I know, a very 'WTF?!' question]
3.] Should I color this it all? And if so, should I do it digitally?
4.] Do the ear and the eye look okay?
5.] Should I submit it to ELO?

Sorry for the onslaught of entries [for those of you who can see them]! But this is the last one for today. :)

This is for my absolutely bestest friend, TIIA! :D Way back in the summer she requested that I make her a birthday picture of a cute girl. And...so I did. Just a couple of days ago. ^^;

L: Who doesn't love L from Death Note? He probably has to be my favorite character.
Lift Me Up: By Moby. It's such a wonderful song.
Life: Sure I complain about it a lot, but I still love it no matter what. It's so exciting.

Languages: I mean the foreign kind. I love learning different languages.
